You’ve played in a lot of cities known for some pretty amazing food. New York, LA, SF, Atlanta, Toronto, Taipei, Beijing, even Houston.

So, whose cuisine reigns supreme?

Raptors champion Jeremy Lin? We brought Kawhi back, maybe he'd like back in the band?

How do you feel about the tactical changes in the NBA that have emerged since 2020 and do you think it's good for the game of basketball?

Two more difficult questions:

1) Throughout your career, it seemed like people's prejudices towards Asian-Americans (and what they can/should be able to achieve on a basketball court) really hampered your ability to flourish in the NBA. Could you share a bit from your perspectives on the role that prejudice played in shaping your NBA career?

2) Your injury in the season opener in 2017 was heartbreaking. As a long time fan (pre-NBA, believe it or not!), it was devastating to see a team finally accept you as their undisputed leader of the franchise, only to have injuries ruin that possibility. As an outsider, that injury really felt like a major turning point in your career; watching you play after that in the NBA, it didn't seem that you were able to find the confidence that you had pre-injury. Does what I've shared here resonate with you, or did you have a different perspective on that chapter of your life?

Great questions and they ring true for everyone that followed his career

Hey Jeremy! What drew you to Toronto when you made the decision to join? Was there anything about the organization that stood out or made it particularly appealing?

Having followed your career since Harvard, I remember how brutally racist fans were during your collegiate career and nba career to a lesser extent.

How were you able to maintain composure and love to both opponents and fans? Did you ever feel like calling ppl out like other players have in recent years?

Hi, Jeremy! Do you have any interest in going the Raptors as a colour commentator?

☝️

We think Jeremy would work great with Matty D.

what's your favorite team to watch right now?

Spurs. I’m extra excited to see their new three-guard lineup with Dylan Harper, Stephon Castle, and De’Aaron Fox. - Jeremy

What advice do you have for older hoopers looking to get back into basketball? I play once a week but miss the days I would practice on an empty court for hours…

19. u/nba · 2026-10-20 22:42 UTC

I think my advice would be if you’re just gonna play once a week. What are some small things I can do to create distance to get my shot off? Whether it’s a jab step, or whether it’s using my eyes to deceive the defender, whether it’s just one step into their chest to be able to step back and create space. The whole point is how do you use a little to create enough space to get a shot off? Because when you get older, you lose speed. The most important thing when you get older and play recreational basketball is not getting hurt. So that would be my biggest advice. We all have our different life responsibilities, a lot of us have potentially significant others or children, so we shouldn’t want to go home hurt. - Jeremy

This is excellent advice.
